Ginny is an entrepreneur and one of the UK's most senior automotive journalists. She’s been at the heart of broadcasting, journalism and transport for 25 years and founded the award winning electric car advice site Electrifying.com in 2020, which has gone on to become the UK's leading authority on EV’s and the wider ecosystem.
Ginny presents on automotive and transport related issues for the ITV1 current affairs programme ‘Tonight’, along with Channel 4's highly regarded ‘Dispatches’, and she regularly appears across the wider media discussing the automotive sectors and is a regular on BBC television and radio.
The first female motoring editor of the UK’s biggest selling national newspaper and former Sky News anchor, Ginny is also a juror for the prestigious World Car of the Year awards (WCOTY). For the past fifteen years Ginny has sat on the Board of Trustees for the Manchester United Foundation, where she works to engage and empower young people through STEM and is the lead trustee for sustainability.
Ginny also works at UK Government level, speaking about electric cars and the consumer at the Department for Transport hosted zero emission vehicle summit and has worked regularly at board level with companies like Jaguar Land Rover and Google.
For the past 10 years Ginny has been one of the hosts of BBC1’s ‘Escape To the Country’ which is shown in over 52 countries .Other presenting credits include BBC’s celebrated global hit travel show ‘Holiday’ and ‘Crimewatch Roadshow’ and ‘Watchdog’ along with ITV’s ‘Granada Men and Motors’, where she produced and presented motoring programmes for many years.
Ginny is in demand as a host and moderator for conferences and live events and is also an experienced keynote speaker. Ginny’s areas of expertise include electrification and electric vehicles and infrastructure, along with sustainability, autonomy and global trends.
